M.A. Ecology, Society and Sustainable Development

Today, conservation and protection of the environment have become the need of the hour. This is why we have designed a master's programme which focuses on equipping students with the required knowledge to create a sustainable tomorrow. While pursuing this programme, students will understand the intertwined challenges of environmental protection, landscape ecology, conservation of natural resources and livelihood security and more. Course Fees

Program fee Rs. 3/- lac per student to be paid in two installments. 1st installment of Rs.1,50,000/- at the time of admissions. 2nd Instalment of Rs.1,50,000/- before the beginning of the fourth trimester.

Admissions Guide

MIT-WPU follows UGC-specified eligibility norms while reviewing students’ admission applications.To be eligible for admission to any of our MA programmes, candidates are required to meet the following criteria :

  • Eligibility of Candidates: Candidates having a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent are eligible to apply. The experience of candidates in working with the social sector, civil society institutions, in liveihood programmes, on policy advocacy, project planning and monitoring will be given due weightage.
