Pass Class in 3/4-year graduation degree in any stream from a UGC-approved institution/ university or its equivalent.

Admission will be based on the Personal Interaction (PI) score, conducted by the University according to the prescribed schedule.

MIT-WPU awards scholarships to its meritorious students based on their academic performance in requisite National/State Level Entrance Exam scores and in the MIT-WPU CET Examination, conducted by MIT-WPU, for the academic year 2026-27. These scholarships are valid for the duration of the programme*.

The categories of Merit Scholarships are:

1. Dr. Vishwanath Karad Merit Scholarship MIT-WPU

2. Merit Scholarship

3. Scholarships to Elite Sportsperson


*All scholarships are awarded on a first come first serve basis.

*All scholarships are awarded as fee adjustments.

*To continue the scholarship for the entire duration of the programme:

a) a minimum level of the academic score has to be maintained at an 8 CGPA across all semesters

b) attendance is to be maintained at a minimum of 80 percent

c) there should be no disciplinary action against the student.
