She is an Electronics & Telecommunication Engineer, who has an industrial experience of 6 years in software testing. She has a goal oriented, energetic and optimistic approach of setting up new projects and prioritize work accordingly. This made her change her work profile from industry to teaching fraternity and research. Prof. Manasvi has been associated as an Assistant professor in Electronics & telecommunication Engineering department since 8 years. After the inception of MIT-World Peace University in 2017, there was evolution of Faculty of Peace Studies department.

She has this quest towards the path of Spirituality and self-discovery which made her shift her domain from science to spirituality. Prof. Manasvi believes in the pedagogy of amalgamation of Science with spirituality. She has good analytical Skills and is a fast Learner who is always ready to learn and take up challenges. She has the ability of multitasking with good leadership qualities, hence currently she has been working as the Associate Head of School, School of Peace Studies, MIT-WPU. Prof. Manasvi has participated and presented more than ten research papers in International and National conferences. Research paper is also published in Scopus indexed journals.

• Centre for Peace Research (MCPR)-an icon of excellence for its innovative/ interdisciplinary

• Taught peace and conflict for over 4 decades at Banaras Hindu University and many academic institutions in Europe and North America. Supervised over two dozen doctoral and post-doctoral researches.

• Professor Upadhyaya has worked extensively with various UN agencies and entities. His recent volume on ‘Long Walk of Peace: Towards a Culture of Prevention’ (2018) translated in many UN languages is being disseminated world-wide by the UNESCO as a primer of peace.

• Dr. Jyotsna Srivastava holds a Ph.D. in Peace Research from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Her Ph.D. thesis asses existing forms of masculinities producing differential treatment for women migrants. The empirical part explores migrant women’s experiences with masculinity, division of labor, hierarchies, and the social conflict it produces. It was designed to convey the diverse experiences of women migrants in the varying masculinities present, building an alternative experiential knowledge system, stimulating the prevailing framework of gendered migration, and the role of masculinities in social-behavioral patterns during migration. She has qualified for UGC JRF-NET. She was awarded the Linnaeus Palme Scholarship issued by the Swedish International Development Agency during her research. She holds a master's degree in Conflict Management and Development.

• She has also attended the Summer Intensive Learning Course on: "Religion and Foreign Policy: Investigating Religious Minorities and Human Rights" at McGill University, Montreal, Canada. She has published her research work in the UGC care list and peer-reviewed national and international journals. She has attended International and national workshops, conferences, and seminars sponsored by ICSSR, the Indian Sociological Society, UNESCO, and PRIO.

• Peace and Conflict Studies, Migration Studies, Gender Studies, Masculinity, mobility and aspirations, gendered geography, and public spaces.

• Professor (Dr.) Anjoo Sharan Upadhyaya is a Distinguished Professor at MIT World Peace University and a Global Fellow at the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO). Previously, she served as the Senior Professor and Head of Chair of Political Science and Dean of Social Sciences at Banaras Hindu University. She has served as the Research Director at the UN University Institute of Conflict Resolution and Ethnicity in the UK. She has also held professorial positions and taught at prestigious institutions worldwide, including the Woodrow Wilson International Centre for Scholars, and Wellesley College in the USA. Freie University, Berlin and many Centres of higher learning in the world. 

• She is a prolific author, with her work published in renowned presses such as Manchester University Press, McMillan, Cambridge University Press, and Routledge.  In addition to her academic work, Professor Upadhyaya has also lent her expertise as a consultant to international non-governmental organizations (INGOs) like International Alert (London) and Political Education Group (Northern Ireland).
