This programme offers a well-rounded curriculum that includes foundational topics such as pharmacy practice, pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, pharmacovigilance, and more. It is structured to blend classroom instruction with practical applications, allowing students to engage in both laboratory work and clinical exposure.

Over the first five years, students delve into core subjects and hands-on laboratory training, covering areas like pharmacotherapeutics, clinical pharmacy, and drug monitoring. The final year is dedicated to a year-long internship or residency, where students receive immersive training in clinical settings, sharpening their skills in real-world healthcare environments.

Upon completing the programme, graduates can pursue diverse career opportunities in clinical pharmacy, regulatory affairs, drug safety, or research, and are also eligible to sit for the national licensure examination, enabling them to practice as registered pharmacists across the country.

Pharm.D. (Post Baccalaureate)

This programme equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become clinical pharmacists. The curriculum covers a range of subjects such as pharmacy practice, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, clinical research, pharmacovigilance, and more.

The course is structured into two phases over three years. Phase I consists of the first and second years, which focus on academic coursework. Phase II, which takes place in the third year, involves an internship or residency where students gain practical experience in speciality units. This practical training helps students develop the skills needed to work independently as clinical pharmacists.

During my time at MIT-WPU, I was presented with a multitude of enriching opportunities that allowed me to refine my academic, leadership, and public speaking skills, among others. My growth extended beyond academics, as I undertook the responsibility of orchestrating the college-level annual event "Prism," a role that honed my leadership and management capabilities. The HackMITWPU hackathon provided another platform for me to shine, emerging as the 1st Rank winner with the innovative AgroExpert solution tailored for farmers' needs.
